Tom Armstrong is an Illinois-born, Iowa-bred, Portland-based performer of original and classic country music. His five-piece band tears through songs old and new, using traditional sounds to pull tears from listeners while filling the dance floor too. A prolific songwriter, he uses his own perspective, personal experience, and wry humor to breathe new life into familiar honky-tonk themes of heartbreak.
